Awesome story, must read.
Applause to the author who just brought together ‘Ember in the ashes’
’GOT’ ‘LOTR’ ‘Clash of the Titans’ lovechild novel which will keep you
hooked with blood thirsty, plot twisting savagery.
Forward Banners is book one of the ( Elyrian Tales) newly released by
author Jamie Powell Mccrae.
The story is about war, struggling alliances and uncertainty of character survival which will keep you on edge whilst being immersed into a new realm of colourful realms and landscapes, with heroes mounted on unicorns and scatters of wizardy, yet maintaining a gritty realism throughout the blood thirsty warmongering adventure.
I’m always skeptical when picking books in this genre as it’s hard not
to compare it to other books of similar substance, but from the get go
this book finds its own unique finesse with great dialogue that
transported me into another realm of adventure and suspense, I could
smell the landscapes and hear the cries of pain as armor rattled,
swords clashed and guts spilled.
I struggled to put it down.
Truly immense storyline , my only frustration is the story has stopped
for now whilst we wait for the next book.
This book is for anybody that enjoys medieval style fantasy.
I found it to be quite special as it brings together aspects from a
selection of other great books to create a whole new diverse fantasy
world. I loved it. 5 stars
