Forward Day by Day: February, March, April 2019

Inspiring readers since our first issue was published in 1935, Forward Day by Day remains a significant resource for daily prayer and Bible study to more than a half million readers worldwide.


Forward Day by Day is a booklet of daily inspirational meditations reflecting on a specific Bible passage, chosen from the daily lectionary readings as listed in the Revised Common Lectionary or the Daily Office from the Episcopal Church's Book of Common Prayer.


The meditations are rich in substance and offer a wide range of witness and experiences. Each month’s meditation is written by a different author, providing fresh and diverse messages to readers on a regular basis.


Forward Day by Day is published quarterly: February/March/April; May/June/July; August/September/October; and November/December/January.

Alongside chasing toddlers and trying to keep up with his wife, Jon Jordan is the logic school director at Coram Deo Academy of Dallas and a pastor at Church of the Incarnation in Dallas, Texas.

Mary W. Cox lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she and her husband enjoy singing in the choir at Church of the Holy Comforter. She writes light verse and haiku and takes a camera on her daily walks, practicing to become a more skilled photographer.

Glenice Robinson-Como serves as canon pastor of Christ Church Cathedral in Houston, Texas. She is the chair of the Commission on Black Ministry and a member of the diversity committee at the Seminary of the Southwest. She and her husband have two children.
