Fouke

An unrelated series of events – the abduction of eight-year-old BobbyJo Harman and the brutal escape of five prisoners in the Texarkana area – sends James Laudon, Sam Reese and Javier Sanchez into the wilderness of Boggy Creek and the Sulphur River Bottoms.  The trio team up with Harley Grainger, a Fouke native known as the best local monster hunter, as the Harman family insists that she was taken by the notorious Fouke Monster.

The group encounters much more than they expect during their dual-purpose search.  Harley insists that more than one creature inhabits the region which inspired the 1972 cult classic film and its variety of spinoff movies.  The animosity between Laudon and Reese escalates as they ultimately confront the beast and one of the fugitives.
