Founders' Fear

In a sardonic narrative of subtle backroom plotting, and thrilling violent action, Founders’ Fear tells a cautionary tale about a U.S. President who abuses his partisan majority to defeat Constitutional checks and balances. He conspires with would be Chinese, Russian and U.S. oligarchs to form a three-way kleptocracy.

Central to the conspiracy is a ruthless Private Military Company. Its mercenaries co-opt hapless Canadian fringe groups to commit heinous acts of domestic terror. This false flag terrorism aims to justify U.S. intervention on Canada’s and Greenland’s sovereign territory.

To the rescue comes an unlikely alliance that includes a stalwart Mountie, his brilliant wife, their adopted teenage hard cases, a swashbuckling female Inuit casino security specialists, tactical units of heroic Northern Natives, a quasi-reformed young female African American pundit, and a tough elderly American White lady.

Nerdy application and discussion of cool, but realistic, tech is central to storytelling, as is a snarky history lesson.
