Rowan Townsend a pediatric surgeon and Nellie Hale a school psychologist meet in unusual circumstances. Nell lives in a very small town in South Carolina, where everyone knowns each other. But one family has their hands in every part of town police department, mayor, and judge. However, one is married to her sister, he is abusive. She grabs her sister and attempt to leave town. Along the way Nellie encounters Rowan. Good story.
Fractured
This storyline has so many surprises Rowan needing to help stitch up a child bitten by a gator putting the child name as John Doe how they help keep them safe. The best surprise is finding out the real names of the town gator catcher and the man who saves turtles. Couldn’t put down another wonderful story.
Can’t wait for the next!

Absolutely one of Kathleen’s best books yet!! Loved everything about this book! Funny, but tears at some times, so good!
This series is another great one!
