Fate and friendship brought the Wagon Crew together in Rumi's sentient, self-propelling wagon. They have travelled across Nerezia, a world haunted by jagged shards that possess people, to unravel the mystery behind Aliyah's existence—and now they know.

Once, in a time long forgotten, a power ritual ripped stories out of people all across Nerezia, coalescing their power into the body of prophesized Hero—Aliyah—only for it to shatter, casting Fragments out into the world. Now, centuries later, Archivist Neomi intends to conduct the ritual again. Desperate to stop it, the Wagon Crew must traverse an underground complex fraught with ancient traps and broken machines, and as Neomi gathers power to themselves, the very fabric of reality begins to unravel.
