Something’s not right here....
You are who God says you are.
Beckett wants badly to believe that — but after poor choices as a teenager, a town that says he is worth nothing and now framed for a murder he did not commit — how could be believe? This first installment in the Desert Justice series does not disappoint.
The author has done a fabulous job of keeping you guessing who the murderer is right up till the end. There is plenty of emotional upheaval for Laney, Beckett’s pregnant wife. One has to wonder about that phrase - for better or for worse. Was this part of the for worse as far as she is concerned? Perhaps, since there are plenty of twists and turns besides the threats, accidents and kidnapping. Between all the action, they begin to realize that God has a plan for each of them, the only question is whether or not it is together.
