Framing the Transatlantic Security Discussion

The current geopolitical challenges require, more than ever, a coordinated transatlantic answer. However, the possibility of providing such an answer may be hampered by domestic concerns on both sides of the Atlantic, which make transatlantic trajectories quite uncertain. The very global nature of these challenges and the shared blurred prospects should prod transatlantic partners to agree on a division of labor to handle these multi-faceted issues that lie at the heart of the international liberal order.
