Actually appears to be THE 1818 "original" text

Seems to be the only offering on iBooks of the many numerous editions that incorporates the original 1818 text. Seven chapters in Volume 1 vs. eight chapters in most later versions; Elizabeth (Lavenza) is introduced in Vol. 1, chapter 1 as 4-year old Victor Frankenstein's first cousin rather than an unrelated orphan as presented in subsequent versions. Chapter 2 in the original begins with Victor turning seventeen whereas later versions have another chapter inserted, bumping the Victor turning seventeen bit to chapter 3, etc., etc., etc.,,,
