Frederic Remington

During his lifetime, Frederic Remington produced more than three thousand drawings and paintings, twenty-two bronze sculptures, two novels, a Broadway play, and over one hundred articles and stories.

He was the greatest artist of the West.  His vision of the West as dangerous, exciting, and full of drama was adopted by the nation. Remington loved horses. The hands-on project is also about horses.
