A multiplayer VR game liveblog
If you’re not an MMORPG gamer, or at least a fan, this book series probably isn’t for you. There’s a lot of technical gaming detail and game worldbuilding going on here, but not a lot of plot or characterization. As a gamer, I enjoyed it well enough, and would love to play in the game world. And the main character is reasonably entertaining. But a fantasy novel this is not. It’s about game character development and the exploration of a game world. It falls a bit short of the best of the subgenre (e.g. Bofuri, Late-Start Tamer), but still a decent read if you like the niche genre.
