Free Smiles :‪)‬

After living in the US for his entire life, photographer Kurt Kamka relocated to Southeast Asia in November, 2011. As an outsider, his new surroundings provided him with the opportunity to use the medium of street photography and street portraits to document the sometimes small, but nevertheless significant moments that make up the day-to-day lives of others.



The photographs in this book were taken as he interacted with strangers while walking the streets of Manila in the Philippines. After hundreds of hours and thousands of miles walked, this is the result.
