Freedom and Civilization

Freedom and Civilization is Malinowski's final expression of his beliefs and conclusions regarding war, totalitarianism and the future of humanity. Published posthumously.



First attempting to define Freedom, he proceeds to analyse its history, out of the beginnings of culture, he traces its growth in early education, and progress to the point where organisation becomes an instrument of Freedom.



This early work by Bronislaw Malinowski was originally published in 1947 and we are now republishing it with a brand new introductory biography.
