More depressing with each chapter. Not what I expect when I read a D. Steele novel. Overall disappointed feeling when i finished reading it.

I usually love and have read almost every Danielle Steele book, but this one just had a little too much death and tragedy for me. I guess that it just isn't what I had expected from the book. Of course I know that there have been things that have happened in some of her other books, but this one it just went on and on, almost to the point of enough already. This book was an easy read, but I wanted to feel good after reading it, and just didn't get that with this one.
