Two weeks after marriage, a life-changing question entered my thoughts. Amazingly, the answers led me to the realization that remnants of past pains and hurts had damaged me both mentally and spiritually.

There was no way I could successfully establish a unified stance (what this book defines as us) with my spouse until I understood and addressed the pains I as an individual was facing.
