From Mourning into Gladness

This biblically-sound historical novel relates the story of a woman and her husband living in Bethlehem whose lives become intertwined with the Holy Family for a time, followed by the Slaughter of the Innocents, in which their two sons are murdered by Herod's soldiers. Together, they build a new life and once again are touched by Jesus in a way that brings freedom from their trauma and hope for the future. Ancient social customs and everyday life are portrayed in such a way that the characters become real to the reader. Suitable for both genders and ages from teens to mature adults.
