Great read! Exciting and captivating!
The author does a great job at describing the horrific attacks he endured as a light skinned black male growing up in a white neighborhood in New York. Ironically, when he moves to a black neighborhood the attacks become more vicious. All this fortunately, leads to a stellar career in law enforcement in the NYPD. Along the journey you get a peek into the author’s family life, love life and career. The author does a wonderful job describing exactly how he goes “From Prey To Protector.” I highly recommend it.
