Alpha Doug ,

Is This Worth the Price - YES, YES, YES!

The quartet of authors who penned this very up-to-date volume have created THE bible of all things DSLR. If you are a beginner at filmmaking, this will accelerate your transition from a 'guy/gal with a camera' to a cinematographer in no time. For an intermediate level filmmaker like me, the numerous tips and shortcuts made this download a real value proposition. Most importantly, there is a perfect balance between hardware/technology and the art of filmmaking, something missing from other DSLR guides. Also missing from some of those other guides has been any real introduction to color correction, but that is covered in-depth here. In fact, I don't know of any other guide covering any craft or art form that was able to encompass as much of its subject matter as this does. Indispensible. The authors have done a great service to the DSLR community.
