Reunions should be fun, exciting. That's not the case for Taylor and Layla. A bond they built as children and strengthened as teens has been tested by Layla's secret, by the hurt she inflicted on Taylor. Leaving both unsure of how to handle their new situation.

Forced to see one another, they bury their feelings. The good and the bad, just to get through the day to day. Struggling to forgive Layla, Taylor dives headfirst into a role he didn't see coming. Something in him softens, and he wonders if holding to his anger is best for everyone. Or is it time to let go?

Layla's guilt overwhelms her even as her love for Taylor grows. Knowing she doesn't deserve his forgiveness, she won't ask for another chance. She's had one too many already.
