Living as a black man in America poses many obstacles. Making the choice to do something positive, I chose the life of becoming a career soldier during the most defining moments in American history, when the rules shifted with unexpected end results. This memoir is a full-spectrum story of love, war deployments, stereotypes, racism, failure, and triumph. A soundtrack was produced by the author, and this series will be the first of its kind. From Thrown Stones is a tribute to the American soldier that America has never met, the firsthand perspective of a soldier forced to survive in the streets, and a tactical guide of Dos and Don’ts for young African Americans living in the United States. These pages will make you ask yourself, Does slavery still exist in America? And why does the world favor some over others? Sometimes it’s luck, sometimes it’s fate, sometimes it’s skill, sometimes it’s hate, but in some rare cases…sometimes it's destiny!
