Fast fun and suspenseful paranormal romance.
Dr. Quinn Jameson left his family and clan behind to make a life as a top notch doctor and spends most of his time alone and in a lab. Finding his fated mate looks like it will never happen. Filing in for a friend in the ER should not be the way one meets their mate but when a pregnant woman is rushed in after an accident then tries to leave all his instincts kick in. Aubrey Celine only knew she had to get out of the hospital and fast before they found her. Why Quinn would want to help she didn’t know but she was greatful, the feelings he stirred in her she didn’t understand. On the run after danger comes they head back to the one place that Quinn knows will keep her safe, his clan.
I enjoyed this story and it’s characters. The thing that bothered me was the back and forth of Aubrey’s character. One minute she was strong and the next scared and almost helpless.
