"Fifty Shades of Grey meets Fight Club."—RT Book Reviews on Against the Ropes
Ray wraps his arms around me and holds me tight as if something terrible has happened and he doesn't want to let me go. Full Contact. This is how Ray speaks when his emotions overwhelm him. I melt into his stillness. His body is hot and hard, his breath warm on my neck. He smells of leather and sweat, sex and sin. Nothing can tear me away.
When you can't resist the one person who could destroy you…
Sia O'Donnell can't help but push the limits. She secretly attends every underground MMA fight featuring The Predator, the undisputed champion. When he stalks his prey in the ring, Sia is mesmerized. He is dominant and dangerous and every instinct tells her to run.
Every beautiful thing Ray "The Predator" touches he knows he'll eventually destroy. Soft, sweet and innocent, Sia is the light to Ray's darkness—and completely irresistible. From the moment he lays eyes on her, he knows he's going to have to put his dark past behind him to win her body and soul.
Praise for Sarah Castille's Redemption series:

PUBLISHERS WEEKLY
Castille's third Redemption contemporary (after In Your Corner), set in the world of mixed martial arts, never achieves the heights of its predecessors. The colorful members of the Redemption club sneak off to fight no-holds-barred underground battles. Thinking she's an anonymous face in the crowd, tattoo artist Sia O'Donnell crushes on fighter Ray, a private investigator. Content to watch but relationship-shy, Sia isn't sure that she can handle Ray, particularly since he seems very secretive and involved with dangerous people. Yet as their paths continue to cross after her tattoo parlor moves into Redemption, she begins to hope that their strong physical connection will lead to emotional intimacy as well. But first, Ray must extricate himself from his dark past while saving Sia from an old enemy. Once again, Castille offers two agile, energetic characters for whom missionary sex is pass , but the plot suffers as Ray, who grunts his dialogue like a caveman ("Man sees his woman standing by a window"), never gets fully developed.

A Love Worth Fighting For...
Sia and Ray's story is just full of complications. Sia O'Donnell loves to watch the underground MMA fighting and "The Predator" in particular. Ray Black, is in fact, "The Predator" and he makes Sia all hot and bothered when he fights.
Sia has a history that makes her shy away from strong and very physical men. That does not stop the attraction she feels when she looks at Ray. Her overprotective brother used to be a fighter and now he wants her to stay away from this world of dark men.
Ray has a history full of pain. He has lost several people who meant the world to him and it keeps him from getting serious. He does not want to lose anyone else or have the pain that goes with it. When Sia needs help, can he be the man she needs? Can he tell her about his shady past?
There is a whole gym full of doubters who think they are a mismatch if ever there was. Sia and Ray cannot help how they feel and they make the effort to go forward until they find themselves starting again two steps back.
Sia works for a tattoo shop that needs a new place and the owner of the gym they all go to offers them a stay temporarily that may become permanent. Is this the right move for Sia? Will seeing Ray all the time cause more problems or less?
Such a good story that just gets into its own groove and I could not put it down! I have not read the earlier books in the Redemption series yet - this book is good enough to stand alone - but I want to read them now!
