EXCERPT:

The two were wrapped in each other’s arms when Wanda walked in on them sleeping. The frustration and confusion she felt earlier melted away when she saw how happy they were together. She tried to leave without waking them but she woke Nick. He made sure Tammy was all right, and got up to see what was going on. Nick stepped out in the hall and found Wanda putting her things away.

“You’d better get back to bed before I call the cops and tell them there’s a naked guy in my house,” she teased.

Nick shook his head and said, “You wouldn’t get me locked up twice in one day.”

“That wasn’t my fault,” Wanda said quickly. “She told me not to tell you…”

“Don’t worry about it,” Nick said reassuringly. “It was...it one of those things.”

“I’m sorry everyone found out about you two.”

With a smile, Nick told her, “I don’t care if you put up a billboard or took out an ad in the paper.”
