Superstock Stephen Hunter
Hunter's writing just gets better with every effort, and this one does not disappoint. As always, his attention to every detail is without peer in this genre. His plot twists and turns are always amazing, even if expected by his most ardent fans. Once again, this is a novel that is so difficult to put down, make sure you are well rested and have plenty of coffee before starting it. To Stephen Hunter I say thank you, best regards, and can't wait for the next one!!
Engrossing
I found the detail provided in Stephen Hunter’s writing riveting. From the thought processes of Juba to excruciating detail about rifle preparation, ammunition specifics, and weather/distance effects, the story was a page-turner!!!
All the fixings here for a great read
Fast paced, terrific story, excellent cast of characters. A true page turner and my favorite from Hunter so far
