Talia Eden loved Foster Madden for one year, two months and eleven days. It was on day 438 that her love died. The day he chose to marry her best friend. The day she vowed never to think of Foster again.
Until years later when he has the audacity to show up in her small hometown of Quincy, begging for her help.
The ink on his divorce papers is barely dry, yet he comes armed with apologies and promises. She knows it’s all a ploy. Foster is the king of games and secrets. But he’s got delusions the size of Montana if he thinks she’ll help him train for a world championship fight.
Except Talia has forgotten exactly what made Foster famous. The man has dedicated his life to victory. He’s steadfast. He’s determined. And he won’t stop fighting until he’s won her heart.
Love this second chance romance!
⅘ stars for the next Eden Family installment. I was so fortunate to get an ARC for this book and couldn’t wait to dive in. After reading the synopsis, I was really wondering how Devney was going to spin this because the hero coming back after a divorce - I mean.. I had doubts. But this book was so great. I adore Devney’s writing and world-building, that’s not a secret. I could spend days in Quincy with the Eden family. They’ve completely stolen my heart. I loved the twists and turns in this book and uncovering the secrets of the split. This is a heartwarming second chance romance and I just adored it. Devney is the queen of leaving you wanting more. The way she crafts a series is phenomenal
I love a good second chance
Garnet Flats a second chance romance that will have you wanting for him to win
Talia is a new doctor who came back home to where everyone remembers her as a little girl so she’s working hard to gain everyone’s respect. She has enough on her plate when the man who she thought was her soulmate until he married her best friend and shattered her heart comes back to win her back
Foster has always loved Talia until he was put in a die or die position now it’s his time to win her back
I absolutely loved this book and the twists kept me turning those pages!
Devney Perry is an absolutely one click for me!
My new fav
This is my new favorite in the series, but I’m not sure I can articulate why! I love a good second chance romance story and this one didn’t disappoint. It gives you crushing heartbreak, brutal disappointment, a few twists I didn’t expect and then finally the healing. I read this in pretty much one sitting just interrupted briefly by my plane landing but I couldn’t wait to get back to Talia and Foster’s story.
