Great book full of ideas for projects
This book is full of great ideas for projects to do WITH your kids. Lots of great ideas for inspiring your kids with technology, science, and some just silly stuff. Highly recommended for geeky parents.
Amazing book with tons of great ideas!
I bought this book simply because I have been reading the Geekdad blog and articles in Wired for ages. After reading through some of the ideas I am sure this book will keep my 8 and 10 year olds and I very busy this summer. First up will be the slip and slide and the balloon carried camera.
Over two dozen geeky things kids will WANT to do with a parent
I'm thrilled by the wide range of project ideas a described in this book. From holiday projects to superheroes, GeekDad offers lots of ways to engage collaborators of all ages in creating, building, and reflecting on science and art. Some are quite practical, like the wi-fi booster. Each project is coded to indicate level of difficulty and investment of time and money to get 'er done. The codes make discussion of possible family projects accessible to all. Reading it together on an iPad only heightens the geek experience.
GeekDad would make a great Mother's or Father's Day gift ... if you can wait that long.
