Genesis 1, 2 and 3

The first chapter of Genesis is a chapter of immense and abiding interest to Christian believers. The author gives a simple straightforward explanation without any frills (or thrills!). Questions of science he has left to one side. Here  we have God’s version of how the world came into being, a marvellous divine creation.

 

The first verse of Genesis is without question the most remarkable combination of seven words that has ever been written. Here we have God’s stamp of authorship, His imprimatur, on the Bible as a whole.
