Series description:
Vengeance keeps ’Topian Edwin Mysk from surrendering to the pain of the destruction of his home world and the loss of the genmate he might have had. One day the Xeno Consortium will know his wrath. Until then, he will pursue his self-imposed mission to locate and reunite the massacre survivors.
When he lands on Laxiter 4, he finds the ’Topian settlement abandoned, except for a lone woman. Lala. Their immediate, intense bonding proves she’s his genmate, the one female his genetics have chosen for him—the one he’d believed lost forever. With Lala at his side, he resumes his search for the others.
But Lala is not the ’Topian he thinks she is. She’s a shapeshifting Xeno, a disgraced former general in the consortium military wrongly convicted of helping ’Topian insurgents escape annihilation. Edwin Mysk offers her best chance to locate the escapees and receive a stay of execution—as long as he doesn’t discover her secret.
Will the gulf between hatred and love, despair and desire, prove too wide for them to cross? Is their genmate bond a tragic mistake?

Will all be lost, including love and the ‘Topians?
Genmate Imperiled is the third book in the Genmate Dilema series and needs to be read in series order. Lala and Mysk are in mortal danger, coming from more than one aspect in their lives, but will they be able to face their future together, or will all be lost, including the ‘Topians?
Oh my goodness, this book left my heart pounding and I felt like I was on the edge of my seat. Just as one issue got resolved, something else popped up, something unexpected came, and surprises and secrets were finally revealed! It was a wild ride! Lala had to stay strong and fight to survive and for her genmate, but I have really enjoyed her character during this series! Mysk grew so much during these pages, but I loved that he fought for Lala and for his people’s freedom. I loved how connected they felt during this book, and how they became so much closer. There was still passion between them, but their relationship really blossomed, even in the midst of chaos and danger. This series was really fascinating to me, as I did not read the series that originally featured Lala’s brother, but I loved my time spent in these pages!
