The marriage of Georgiana Burton to Ralph, Earl of Chartleigh, begins with every promise of happiness for both, though they scarcely know each other. She is attracted by his youthful good looks and gentle, courtly demeanor, while he is dazzled by her beauty and vivacity.

Horrible
I have read many of this author’s books and have really enjoyed them. I don’t know what happened with this one. The idea is so far fetched and ridiculous. I couldn’t stand either Ralph or Georgiana. They were unbelievable and pathetic characters. I sped through the last 6 chapters.
