Gentle Scars Trilogy
Easily ended up being my favorite book in this genre so far. I had to keep reading, I was definitely hooked. So I paid for the next 2 books in this trilogy. It is always a pet peeve of mine when I’m trying to get into a book and the spelling is all over the place. I don’t mean language barrier typos either, just lazy mistakes not corrected. This had 1, if any. Then there is her writing style, so detailed. Aside from the fact that it’s shifters, it’s 100% emotionally relatable. It envelopes you. My heart actually hurts and then heals for these characters and I am genuinely sad that there isn’t more books pertaining specifically to these characters. New fav. shifter writer, hands down!!! 🙌🏻

This steamy quick read will leave you panting for more!! Book two essentially picks up where book one left off. We get to dive into a new romance with Vince, a wolf shifter, and Veronica, a vampire. Vince and Veronica’s story is shaping up to be a rocky ride and I can’t wait to find out how they work things out! Not only do we get Vince and Veronica’s story, we also get to catch up with Grace and Lizzie! I love the layers to this saga and can’t wait for the next book!!
