Get Up and Walk 1: Saint Jean Pied de Port to Viana

The author - a lifelong atheist - had originally walked the first section of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route from Saint Jean Pied de Port in France to Roncesvalles in Spain, with his new best friend - a committed follower of Jesus.

A year later, having himself experienced a 'Road to Damascus' type event in the intervening months, the author returns to Roncesvalles alone, to continue his pilgrimage across Spain, hoping to walk home to his adopted Spanish village in Navarra.

But in place of his original friend, Diem walks hand in hand with his new found faith. For the duration of this trek he decides not to plan anything whatsoever, believing that God will provide for him.
