Friends and more...
This is how it’s SUPPOSED to be people. Two people meet, they get to know each other, they like each other, and that TURNS IN TO LOVE! Thanks to Tessa Bailey for writing a story about fairly normal people with jobs, and friends, and feelings. Even though the H has money, the story isn’t about that. He’s not a jerk, she’s not a virgin and still the story is wonderful! Well written dialogue and steamy scenes, and a solid plot...if you like those things - read this book!
One of the best!
Unusual setting starting at a wedding where the groom get jilted. But I as sucked immediately when the beautiful girl gives the guy a ride away from all the ruckus. She’s brass with him, but offers him a drink and place to wind down. All while keeping it nice but brassy enough to keep him at a distance. They become best of friends without touching each other. But when they give into the attraction it’s super hot and explosive. He’s a big sweet beautiful man and she’s a brassy knock out.
Good read
Refreshing change of storyline. Good characters and essence of southern culture. Good depth and growth of Elijah’s character after being left at the alter.
