Truly Desperate?
Twenty first centuries arriving with glances brings progressed problems for all but at the moment, more of single women. How horrid experiencing life then feeling completely moronic once discovering that jerk took your money and never had an ill three year old child!
Does this seem familiar? Hmm, how about Christmas Foundation/ Organizations politely asking for money? At least then, useful!
Funny!
Getting Complicated is the prequel to Diane Amos' hilarious "Getting" series, which includes Getting Personal and Getting In Deep. Amos' writing always makes me laugh until all the woes in the world slide away for a while. In Getting Complicated, we get to meet Monique St. Cyr and her best friend, Jeannine. Right off the bat, they're discussing Monique's mother's foray into writing erotica, which totally fits into today's Fifty Shades of Twilight craze. A discussion about euphemisms for a certain male body part had me giggling long after I finished reading Getting Complicated. If you haven't given Diane Amos a try, Getting Complicated is a great place to start -- and soon you'll be "getting" the rest of Diane's contemporary and historical romances.
