TJ Bennett knows one thing for certain—being in love isn’t for him. Been there, done that, has the scars to prove it.
But that’s before he meets colorful, sweet, slightly-kooky Hope Daniels.
Hope is only in town temporarily. She simply wants to have a cup of coffee with the father she’s never known.
But when her directions lead her to TJ’s house instead, everything becomes a lot more complicated… and a lot more interesting. Because there’s nothing like a big gruff introvert to push this extrovert’s let-me-make-it-all-better buttons.
All of TJ’s plans to stay uninvolved and out of her way evaporate quickly and before he knows it, Hope’s got him thinking differently about everything—family, home, heartbreak and maybe, just maybe, the fact that he’s never actually been in love… before now.

TJ has been burned by love before and isn't looking for it to happen again. Hope is in Sapphire Falls to experience some of the magic her mother did one summer long ago. These two shouldn't be perfect for each other but from the very first time they meet, it's obvious that there's something that can't be denied.
Sapphire Falls is like magic. There is so much love in this town and it's wonderful to be along for the ride. Every visit to Sapphire Falls is amazing!!!
Small Town Romance at its best!!
I just adored this book. An engaging, witty, and fun opposites attract romance that was hard to put down when I was forced. (house work yuck)
TJ is so grouchy (hiding soft underbelly) and determined to not fall for another drama loving female. Hope Daniels is just the independent, strong willed, fun, colorful and different woman to prove to him that loved does not need to be a struggle all the time. She invades his life at just the right time and changes his whole world and hers. Loved this crazy and fun little town and look forward to reading more from this series.
I can count on several things when I pick-up an Erin Nicholas book: It’s going to be sweet, funny, panty-melting passionate, and end with a satisfying HEA. Getting Lucky has all that but the author has cranked up the dial a few notches. I bookmarked twice as many hilariously funny quips. While the couple didn’t do the delicious durty for quite a ways into the book, the clothes fell off pretty darn early with a lot of sexy sprinkled in between. Talk about foreplay.
Although I think this book isn’t so much sweet as it is sensual. Hope seduces TJ, the other beloved SF residents and even the reader with her openness of her spirit, feelings and body. It’s so fun seeing my favorites all wide-eyed and excited by her earthy awareness and practices she brings to enrich their already happy lives.
What I didn’t expect from this book is for it to make me examine my own life: Maybe I should be more adventurous, stop letting others control my happiness, start saying what I really feel rather than what is expected, live in and fully appreciate the now. What a surprising benefit.
How can I not love this book? TJ is absolutely swoonworthy, but Joe still holds my heart. A few chapters in I wondered if Hope would replace Lauren as my favorite SF heroine. My flove for Lauren is strong, so I can’t make myself admit that. Let’s just say a person should have more than one spirit animal.
It’s obvious the author has captured a colossal wave and is riding that high like a boss. So glad she’s taking us on the ride with her. I can’t wait for Ty and Hailey’s story. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be epic.
