Oh my what a great love story. Plus the families, friends of both the main characters . So good, so many interactions, that kept it a page turner. I was so excited, coming to see all the items, that made this story one of the best books I have read this year . Thank you .

Great story. I loved the lady’s perseverance
I love the "older brothers best friend/best friends younger sister" trope, and Erin and Jen have nailed it in this book.
Caitlyn has one mission, and that's to help get Eli to the tryout of his dreams. Little did she know the short road trip could lead to the night of her dreams.
I loved the chemistry between these two. Caitlyn has a fantastic attitude,even when things don't work out her way. Eli is so freaking hot, and his insecurities about playing ball are sweet, and rarely a side we see in our heroes. I love the romantic side he gets when Caitlyn starts thinking about things too hard.
The secondary characters added just as much fun to the story as Eli and Caitlyn, and I loved catching up with some from the previous books in the Sapphire Falls/Love Between The Bases series'.
This book had me laughing, crying, and falling in love with these characters, and I'm sure you will love them too!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great sports romance
Getting Wound UP is a crossover book between the Erin Nicholas’s Sapphire Falls series and Jennifer Bernard’s Love Between the Bases series, but you don’t have to have read any books in either series to fall in love with Caitlyn and Eli! He is the hometown boy who could’ve made it to Major League Baseball but for a family health crisis. She’s the girl who grew-up and moved away but upon returning home to Sapphire Falls, due to her own family health crisis, finds herself falling for her older brother’s best friend. Caitlyn as always liked and admired Eli but now it’s so much more, which she can handle as long as he doesn’t find out…too bad she’s tasked with kidnapping Eli and delivering him to an open try out for a MLB team. Will his big league dreams finally come true and if they do what does that mean for her dreams of happily ever after with Eli in their home town?

This book is a combination of the Sapphire Falls series and Love Between the Bases series and Eli Anderson and Caitlyn Murray are the stars. These two have chemistry in spades. You definitely won't be disappointed in the "friends to lovers" and "falling for your brother's best friend" combination scenario. Familial responsibility can take over your entire life. Just ask best friends, Caitlyn and Eli, of which both are very familiar with. Eli has a dream and it's Caitlyn's job to help him make it come true, even if she has to kidnap him to see it through. These Sapphire Falls men will do anything for the women they love. What's important to remember is that the Sapphire Falls women are exactly the same. They will also do anything for the men they love.
These two authors are brilliant when writing by themselves but writing together they are magnificent! This is another five star hit for Erin Nicholas and Jennifer Bernard. I can't wait to see what happens next in Sapphire Falls, Nebraska and Kilby, Texas.
