Local Guild boss and powerful ghost hunter Cooper Boone is everything botanist Elly St. Clair could ask for—the handsome, strong and silent type. Maybe too silent. For when Guild secrets threaten her career at the college, Elly has to call off their marriage—and leave small-town life behind...
But starting over in the thriving metropolis of Cadence City isn’t easy, especially when one of Elly’s new friends disappears in the eerie catacombs beneath the streets. Cooper turns up just in time to help Elly investigate. And as the mystery deepens and dangerous ghost myths and legends come to light, Cooper makes it clear he intends to stick around—and this time he’s holding nothing back…

Love the dust bunnies
This is another good mystery including a starring dust bunny. It was a good story but I wish it had been a little longer with a few more In depth details. I guess I enjoy these books and want them to last longer.
So so same same
What are all the heroines in JKs books vegetarian, ‘not so striking but memorable, & just stop shy of having one bold move in their psyche?’ Its Ike she has to make sure it’s impossible that a meat eating woman can also be beautiful & talented. She NEVER describes her heroines as the best looking women. Unreal. Anyhoo I loved the fact that she had a Black character. I’ve been reading her work under all pseudos & am a fam from old. Lately tho her works have been Ho hum same ole chums. Also the sex scenes have becoming boring, amazingly short & predictable. Her paranormal series are the best of her line, historical & New Age including this one. But two sex scenes? And the women borderline life idiots were a lil much. And as usual drug to be destroyed or found. My last purchase of any JK novel. Old & flat.
Read this series if you haven't already done so,or read it again.
Loved this world called Harmony. Fast paced, with twists and turns. Love Elly and Cooper...and I want my very own dust bunny....please!!!!!
