Can a modern-day Mr. Darcy win over the only woman he's ever really wanted?
Riley Zayat has finally landed her dream job, but the gifted kids in her classroom need more than one person can give. She needs Christian’s help but doesn't have time for the overly forthright and too-smart-for-his-own-good tech god.
Christian has returned home to Breathless, Georgia, emotionally burned out. Money has come easy, women, not so much. The rigidity and meticulousness that make him a sought-after programmer have the opposite effect on his game.
If he wants to show Riley how he really feels, he’s going to have to set the rulebook on fire.
“Characters so real they could walk off the page.” This is the first book in the Breathless, Georgia series—small town Southern romance with swoon-worthy characters and fall-head-over-heels drama. Fall hard for Gifted now!

This book starts earlier in time than the first book of the Breathless series. I read through it in just a couple chunks as it was a quick paced and light read. Although I didn’t like it as much as the others in the series, it was still written very well. The characters felt real and flawed. Sometimes frustrating as well!
I was given an advanced reader copy, but that did not affect my review in any way.
