This is my first book. I live in a small town and grew up twelve miles from here. I have always wanted to write but never took the chance. I am hoping to do this again. 

Her memoir reminds readers that most people are complex and worthy of some grace and understanding. Croft discovers over time that the owner is a holocaust survivor and educates herself on what he might have been through. Her writing is complete/genuine.
