Give me Mercia

Old man is offered a chance to live in the twelfth century in an area of England called Mercia. As a time traveler he experiences a new beginning where he can make up for all his short givings in his old life. Fights several small and large battles, weds Aelic after he kills her father. It did not turn her off, she had reasons to hate the old man. At 6'2" she meets the first man in her life who she has to look up to. Together the form a new and freer society.
