Gloria Gant

Story of a five year old girl who had special powers. some people liked her, some didn't, The family had to move from happy home in Georgia to remote area in Mississippi. Her powers were first exploited for financial gain by her church. Later her gift was turned to profit by her family, and then she became ill with a terrible disease. Her parents travelled to Africa to find a cure. The family's concoctions cured her and everyone else who could afford to pay astronomical costs. At present runs successful medical research lab outside the US.
