GNA 2
Publisher Description
In the Graphic Novels class at Alliance High School, students read contemporary novels created in graphic form (don’t call them comics!), and they also create their own graphic narratives.
These creations take a number of forms: mythology, Aesop’s Fables, historical perspective and biographical works. These assignments are, by design, preparation for each student’s final creation, the GNA Project: a 4-page work of the student’s own creation.
These graphic creations can be mystery or memoir, sci-fi or suspense, funny or fantastic. However, the students have learned how to follow a professional work process: story treatments to script to pencil stage, through final inking, as well as production using scanners and Photoshop.
