Go Build Training Manual

The Go Build Training Manual highlights the construction, engineering, and manufacturing industries, using interactive and hands-on classroom exercises for 7th-9th grade students. This e-textbook seeks to showcase the fact that careers in skilled trades are ripe with opportunities and potential in a variety of industries throughout Alabama, and provide engaging real-world applications of the curriculum that will guide students through a successful career in a skilled trade. Go Build is a collaboration between trade associations and organized labor to address the current skills gap and change perceptions in students, parents and educators by encouraging capable young minds to consider the benefits of a career in the skilled trades. This textbook is a collaboration between Go Build Alabama and the Alabama Department of Education with support from the Alabama Power Foundation.
