God Help Me To Be Obedient

Like most kids, Joel loves to have fun. However, Joel thinks rules are always getting in the way of having fun. Why are there rules anyway? Why do we have to obey them?

Whether it's biking on slippery paths, or sticking fingers through animal fences, Joel always seems to push the limits. But after a few bumps, bruises, gentle and bible-based guidance from his parents, Joel begins to see that rules and instructions are not meant to stop the fun. They are there to keep everyone safe and happy. 

As followers of Jesus, when we obey instructions, we show that we respect and honour God. We show that we respect and honour other people too.
