Good Girl
Descrição da editora
Haley's job is to keep billionaire rockstar Jax Jamieson out of trouble...
Not to fall for him.
I was hired to work for a legend. Instead, I'm being seduced by a man.
When I took an internship on rock god Jax Jamieson's tour, I never thought he'd look twice at me. He's older, cocky, jaded and nothing like the college guys I'm used to.
He's gorgeous, rich, talented, and the biggest rockstar in the world.
Too bad I rubbed him the wrong way on day one.
Now he takes divine pleasure in making my life hell. During soundcheck. On the road. At the hotel after shows.
I need this job for reasons he can never know. That's why I have to be cool under that smoldering gaze and arrogant grin.
The bigger problem is when the cynicism slips away, exposing the cracks beneath. When he lets his guard down to tell me things he hasn't told a soul.
Being with him sets me free.
Because a million women scream his name...
But he whispers mine.

Thumbs up
It was a short quick read.
Bad ending and not worth the read
I’m sorry what is that ending? It’s like you’re reading a book and the author decided to just stop writing in the middle of it. The book could have honestly ended pages earlier and made more sense than where the book does end. Didn’t hate the characters, but you don’t really get to know most of them and between the two main characters the only thing you know is that your told they have sad personal stories and they are kind to others. We never SEE any of these traits in action we are only told about them. Very annoying, an easy read but plan to get all the books because together they’re practically one book.
I love this book
I’ve read a few of Piper’s books now, and generally, I always enjoy them. But this one right here, I think the story flows beautifully and the character development is great. Additionally, the description is beautiful. This is one of my favorites.
