My new co-worker… not a fan.
Well, I do like the way he looks, the way he moves, and the way his forearms flex when he rolls the sleeves of his dress shirt up. But I hate how much pleasure he takes when he makes fun of me for using a matchmaker.
I’ve always gone after what I want. Why should love be any different?
After I find a letter in my apartment that foretells me falling for someone, our banter turns into kissing which turns into more and soon, we find ourselves hiding our work affair from our boss and co-workers.
What could be worse than having to pretend you don’t love the man you pass multiple times in the hallway every day? Finding out you’re competing with him for the promotion you’ve both wanted your entire careers and knowing that neither one of you will back down.
Marlowe finally gets her HEA!
There is something magical in the apartment and it has helped Fiona and Jemma find their loves. Now Marlowe gets her turn! She is a dreamer, a romantic, one full of hope.
And it turns out that Isaac is the one to work to capture her love and devotion. I enjoyed the banter to no end. The secrets kept me reading and wanting so much more. In the end, it gave me all I wanted and more!
Loved this book!
I loved finally seeing romantic Marlowe finally getting her happily ever after. This is the last in the series following three roommates sharing an apartment, each of whom finds a letter from a past tenant that predicts them finding true love. Marlowe is a hopeless romantic who has been trying to find true love, but the apps and the matchmaker aren’t cutting it. Adding to her stress is the hottie at work who is always getting under her skin. Isaac is new to the magazine, but is trying to prove himself. His main competitor for future promotions is the woman constantly shooting him daggers, Marlowe. They a great couple who have to get beyond their parental hang-ups to get to their happy ending. Overall, a very enjoyable read. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for my honest review.
