Goodnight Memories

The mind is a fascinating thing. It has the capacity to take any event one has experienced and create a memory. Those memories allow us to live and relive the emotions that we once felt. Some are positive, and some are negative. Regardless of how a memory made us feel, some exist in a place where they must be told goodnight and put to sleep—not forgotten, but simply placed in a different consciousness. Within this book, there exists the memories of a young woman in the form of poems. Each poem is its own memory filled with its own emotions. This is the author’s way of saying goodnight.
