Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona

Created by the United States Railroad Administration to encourage rail travel to national parks, this elaborate booklet includes photographs, maps, train timetables and important information for tourists to Grand Canyon National Park. Various sections describe accommodations available at the canyon's edge as well as various hiking routes for visitors wishing to travel deep into the canyon itself. Additional photographs and text detail the lives of the Native Americans who make their homes near the canyon. Many of the structures photographed still exist today.
