Brought back memories...
A quite adorable homespun tale that brought back many pleasant memories of my time with my grandfather. Definitely worth the read.
Remember those days
Very good short story of era of time that was enjoyable.
I too remember the Nash Rambler that our family owned. Yes those salted white pistachio nuts, which we bought at Sears, along with the cashews.
Thanks for the memories!

Bob Chapin writes the best short stories. I am not old enough to remember the era he is writing about, but he writes in a way I can relate to what he is saying. I have enjoyed every story of his that I have read. Thanks for sharing such great memories Bob!
