Great book, great author!
This is a side of Mr. Darcy I had not seen before! He is driven by his
father’s dying wish (to grow the wealth of Pemberley for future
generations) and family expectations (to marry his cousin Anne). Even
when he falls in love with Elizabeth, he is willing to give her up rather
than deviate from his course. Once Darcy is parted from Elizabeth, he
realizes the separation is not such a simple matter. Darcy’s cousin
Richard and sister Georgiana try to make him see that Elizabeth is his
“happily ever after”. Now Darcy must decide for himself what his
future will be.
I received a gift copy of Gravity from Ms. Dixon with no requirements
attached. But after reading it, I just had to say how much I loved the story. It is one of my favorite P&P stories!
