Hopkins saw glory not in the industrial power , but in the power of religion and God.

Christina Rossetti also looked to God , but she also reflected on the role of women in this brave new world.

Many view Tennyson as the great tradition Victorian poet , however both Hopkins and Rossetti were influential by their innovation .

All three poets have maintained a level of popularity into the 20th and 21st Centuries with their poems regularly featuring in anthologies and collections.
